Mouchir EL HUSSEINI is Managing Director and Country Chair for the Levant countries at Thales, where he leads the Group’s activities, strategic development and institutional engagement across the region. Since joining Thales in 2007, he has built extensive experience across technology, operations, strategy and international business. He began his career at the Group’s European Research Centre for Security and Information Systems before moving into operational leadership roles for major security programs, and then into Sales and business development in the defense sector. He later joined the leadership team of Thales International as Marketing & Strategy Director for the Middle East and West Asia, before assuming Managing Director and Country Director responsibilities across several countries in the region.   In Lebanon, Mouchir initiated and led the creation of Thales’s Data & AI Center of Excellence in Beirut, establishing a strategic technology hub that combines the Group’s expertise in advanced technologies with Lebanon’s highly skilled engineering talent.   Mouchir is a graduate of École Polytechnique and holds a Master’s degree in Complex Systems Engineering, specializing in Defense & Security, as well as an Engineering degree from Télécom SudParis. He is also a French Foreign Trade Advisor (Conseiller du Commerce Extérieur de la France) and a member of the French-Lebanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFL).
