Launched by Lebanon’s Ministry of Technology and Artificial Intelligence (MITAI), LAIN is operated and powered by BY Venture Partners, a global early-stage VC firm with roots in MENA.

*A strong Lebanese connection means that:
- You are of Lebanese origin (at least one parent is Lebanese);
- You have Lebanese ancestry (at least one Lebanese grandparent);
- A C-suite member of your founding team is Lebanese and holds equity in the company at the time of investment; or
- Your company has substantial operations in Lebanon, such as building teams, creating jobs, or maintaining a meaningful operational presence.

How Selection Works
- Applications open publicly.
- Organizers review all applications. Applicants may be invited to follow-up conversations or to share more details.
- Five companies are selected for the main stage, receiving training and support before pitching live.

- Solution Maturity: Proven usage and traction
- Team Credibility: Ability to execute in uncertainty
- Forward Viability: Credible path to growth with investment
