Neemat G. Frem is a Member of the Lebanese Parliament, a prominent businessman, and Chairman and CEO of INDEVCO Group, a global organization employing more than 11,500 people. His career combines public service, innovative leadership, and international advocacy for Lebanon. He founded Project Watan in 2021, a national movement committed to building a sovereign, modern, and prosperous state that protects citizens’ dignity and delivers quality services. Elected twice to represent Keserwan-Jbeil, he chaired Parliament’s National Economy, Trade, Industry, and Planning Committee. In 2019, he proposed a five-year zero-deficit plan intended to help avert Lebanon’s financial crisis. Following the 2020 Beirut Port explosion, he resigned from Parliament in protest against corruption and institutional failure. Frem has led pioneering ventures in energy, environmental, and medical technologies. As founder and president of Phoenix Group, he helped introduce photovoltaic systems, electric vehicles, and locally produced ventilators during the COVID-19 pandemic. He previously chaired the Association of Lebanese Industrialists and the Maronite Foundation in the World, supporting industrial growth, diaspora ties, and interfaith dialogue. Holder of three U.S. patents and an honorary doctorate from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, Frem remains dedicated to transforming challenges into opportunities and advancing a prosperous future for Lebanon.
