Occupational Therapist and Psycho-Organic Psychotherapist with more than 25 years of professional experience in child protection, trauma-informed care, psychosocial support, and specialized case management in Lebanon and international contexts. Rose currently serves as National Resilience Program Manager and ISS Case Workers’ Coordinator at Himaya, where she leads national strategies and programming in child protection, resilience, mental health, psychosocial support, and family-centered interventions for children and families affected by trauma, violence, displacement, and war. She brings extensive expertise in complex and cross-border child protection case management, including international child abduction, unaccompanied and separated children, and family reunification. From 2021 to 2025, she co-led the ISS International Case Management Experts Group, bringing together expertise from 145 countries and contributing to the development of international strategies, guidance, and good practices in trauma-responsive and child-centered care. Rose’s professional approach is holistic and integrative, drawing on her foundations in occupational therapy and psycho-organic psychotherapy, combined with more than two decades of specialized experience in child protection and humanitarian programming. Her work focuses on trauma informed, child- and family-centered, and psychosocial approaches to protection and recovery. Throughout her career, she has led multidisciplinary teams, designed and implemented national and regional programs, developed specialized intervention approaches and tools, and provided technical guidance and psychosocial interventions. She has also worked extensively with international organizations, governmental and judicial actors, and community stakeholders to strengthen child protection systems and promote comprehensive, family centered models of care and support.
