Cynthia El Khoury is the Country Manager for Lebanon and Iraq at Mastercard. She is responsible for driving Mastercard’s growth strategy, fostering innovation and delivering world-class digital payment solutions to meet the evolving needs of businesses and consumers in her markets as part of the company’s vision to build a secure and inclusive digital economy. Previously, Cynthia served in different roles within Mastercard, including Country Manager for Bahrain, Levant and Business Development Manager for Commercial Payment Solutions for Qatar and the Levant. During this time, she spearheaded the launch of multiple commercial programs in collaboration with leading financial institutions in the region. Before joining Mastercard, Cynthia worked as corporate sales and business development manager for Levant at American Express MENA. She also has over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, spanning senior roles in business development, sales and customer service with IHG Hotels & Resorts. Cynthia holds an Executive MBA from ESA and ESCP Business School and a Hospitality Management degree from Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ).
