Georges Bitar is the Founder of LiveLoveRecycle (LLR), a Lebanese environmental initiative using technology and innovation to make recycling more accessible, efficient, and impactful. Over the past decade, Georges has led the development of an integrated recycling ecosystem that combines digital solutions with on-the-ground collection and sorting operations. LiveLoveRecycle’s technology connects households, businesses, collectors, and recycling stakeholders, helping streamline collection and improve the recovery of recyclable materials. Today, LLR serves more than 40,000 users and collects over 100 tons of recyclable materials every month. Through LiveLoveRecycle, Georges works on developing practical and scalable solutions to waste-management challenges, strengthening recycling value chains, and exploring opportunities to replicate the model beyond Lebanon. At Experia, he brings hands-on experience in environmental entrepreneurship and a perspective on how technology, innovation, and collaboration can accelerate the transition toward a more circular economy.
